About the Role
Do you love meeting new people? Are you the person others open up to? This role is for you.
As our HR Associate, you will be the friendly face of HR in Houston. You will build real relationships with our employees so they feel heard, valued, and supported. You will also help us find great talent across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
No HR experience? That's okay. We will train you. We care most about your attitude, your people skills, and your drive to learn.

What You'll Do
Global Recruitment (Main Focus)

• Hire talent across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
• Make outreach and cold calls to connect with potential candidates.
• Build and manage a strong talent pipeline, so we are always ready when a new role opens.
• Stay in touch with future hires and keep them engaged with Value Creed.
• Support the full hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Give every candidate a warm, professional experience.
• Schedule some calls early in the day to reach candidates in the UK and Europe, within your regular

Employee Relationships & Retention

• Be an approachable, trusted HR point of contact for employees.
• Build strong relationships so employees feel comfortable sharing feedback and concerns.
• Check in with employees regularly and flag issues early.
• Help us keep our people happy, engaged, and growing with us.

Engagement & Culture

• Plan and run employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations.
• Support recognition programs and culture-building initiatives.
• Bring fresh ideas to make Value Creed a great place to work.

HR Operations

• Support onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
• Help with day-to-day HR tasks and projects as needed.
• Coordinate with teams and managers across locations.

What You Bring
Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and confident with people.
• A naturally warm nature and genuine empathy for others.
• Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools, including AI and automation.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in following rules and processes.
• Quick learner who takes ownership.
• Must be authorized to work in the US. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Nice to Have

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or other people-facing roles.
• Any exposure to recruiting, HR, or sales outreach.
• Experience working with people from different countries and cultures.
