Job description

  • Floated adaptively across diverse telemetry and acute care units, providing direct, continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and intermediate-level nursing care to complex patient populations.
  • Recognized, interpreted, and responded to subtle ECG abnormalities, lethal dysrhythmias, and rapid clinical deterioration, initiating immediate emergency protocols and interventions.
  • Managed continuous cardiac telemetry, titratable vasoactive drips, IV therapies, and central lines while seamlessly adhering to varying unit-specific workflows and electronic health record systems.
  • Integrated into fast-paced multidisciplinary teams on short notice, delivering safe medication administration, patient advocacy, and clear clinical handoffs across shift changes..
Licensure / Certification / Registration
  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
