Quick Overview
Job Description
Be the welcoming face of recovery. Make a difference from the very first hello.
At The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, we believe recovery begins with compassionate care, meaningful connections, and an environment where every individual feels respected and supported. As our Receptionist, you’ll play an important role in creating that experience by welcoming patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism, warmth, and empathy.
This is more than a front-desk position. You’ll help create a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment for individuals taking important steps toward recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to confidentiality will help our multidisciplinary team focus on what matters most: providing patient-centered, evidence-based care.
If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a professional environment, and want your work to contribute to something meaningful, we invite you to be part of our mission.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and greet patients, families, visitors, and employees in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Manage incoming calls, monitor voicemail, direct calls appropriately, and relay accurate and timely messages to team members.
- Maintain visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs, distribute visitor badges, and ensure badges are returned.
- Help maintain a welcoming, professional, and organized reception area and waiting room.
- Monitor staff whereabouts and assist with communication and coordination throughout the facility.
- Maintain organized filing systems and help manage, track, and order office supplies for various departments.
- Provide administrative and project support to other departments as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented workplace.
- Protect confidential patient and family information and follow all applicable privacy requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the facility.
