Part Time HR Advisor

We're partnering with a respected, values-led charity to recruit a People Advisor to join the People Team. Working a 4-day week, this is a fantastic opportunity to use your HR expertise to support managers and employees while contributing to an organisation dedicated to making a positive difference in people's lives.
As a trusted People Advisor, you'll provide practical, professional and people-focused advice across a wide range of HR matters. You'll work closely with managers, helping them navigate employee relations issues, develop their teams and create a positive employee experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives
• Providing guidance on employment policies, procedures and best practice
• Assisting with organisational change and people projects
• Supporting wellbeing, engagement and inclusion initiatives
• Maintaining accurate people records, reporting and compliance activities
• Coaching managers to build confidence and capability in managing their teams

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or People Advisor role
• Strong employee relations case management experience
• Up-to-date employment law knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A practical, solution-focused approach
• The confidence to challenge and influence when required
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
