Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Contracts Manager to manage and negotiate complex technology contracts for a large university system. This is a hands-on contract management role responsible for taking agreements from procurement/RFP award through negotiation and signature.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT contracts from award through execution.
• Negotiate contracts for Oracle, AWS/cloud, ERP, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, data security, and IT services.
• Review and redline MSAs, SOWs, order forms, amendments, and related agreements.
• Negotiate key terms including pricing, data security, liability, indemnification, SLAs, insurance, and IP.
• Work closely with Procurement, Legal, IT stakeholders, and vendors.
• Manage multiple contract negotiations and renewals simultaneously.
• Track approvals and drive contracts through timely execution.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT contract management and negotiation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience negotiating complex enterprise technology contracts.
• Experience with Oracle, AWS/cloud, ERP, SaaS, and cybersecurity/data security agreements.
• Strong contract review and redlining experience.
• Experience managing contracts through the full contract lifecycle.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex negotiations.

Preferred

• Higher Education or Public Sector contracting experience.
• Experience with large, complex or multi-entity organizations.

This is a contracts management position, not a legal counsel role. A law degree or bar admission is not required.
