Pipefitter | Airdrie, United Kingdom | On-site | £38,662 + shift allowance

The Role
• Fabricating and installing large and small-bore pipework systems using various materials like copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
• Employing hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes.
• Installing utilities such as sinks, showers, and toilets aboard vessels.
• Assembling fittings, valves, and related components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborating with other trades to ensure project timelines and accuracy.
• Adhering strictly to safety regulations and company procedures.
What You'll Need
• A Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, with proficiency in relevant tools and equipment for major projects.
• Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements, with consistent application on the job.
• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
