Job Description

Yugo is a global leader in student housing dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences for students around the world. With a presence spanning more than 14 countries and 120 cities, Yugo combines innovation, community, and purpose to redefine student living. In the U.S., Yugo operates nearly 40,000 beds across 88 properties in 28 states, delivering vibrant communities designed to support student success both personally and professionally. We're more than student housing. We're a global student living brand committed to creating spaces and experiences that help students Live Their Best Life (LYBL). Our teams are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in being Pioneering, Purposeful, and Positive in how we work, collaborate, and deliver for our students and communities.

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator who brings that same energy, organization, and commitment to supporting our communities and helping our marketing and leasing initiatives come to life. You'll play an important role in keeping our marketing and leasing activities organized, connected, and moving forward across our US portfolio. You'll be a key link between our onsite teams, corporate departments, agency partners, and digital vendors, helping ensure marketing requests, projects, and initiatives are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and keeping multiple moving pieces on track. You'll work closely with teams across the business, supporting everything from property website updates and marketing materials to new initiatives and portfolio-wide projects.

While you'll be part of a creative and dynamic marketing environment, this isn't a graphic design or creative development role. It's about coordination, communication, execution, and making sure the details come together to support our teams and students.

Reporting to the SVP, Leasing and Marketing, here's what you'll be doing:

Supporting Our Communities

  • Be a go-to resource for our onsite teams, helping coordinate and manage day-to-day marketing requests.
  • Coordinate updates to property websites, promotional specials, signage, marketing materials, and property information.
  • Keep requests organized, prioritized, and moving forward, ensuring teams receive timely updates and support.
  • Maintain project trackers, request logs, and reporting tools to provide visibility into priorities and progress.
  • Support the onboarding of new communities, helping coordinate marketing setup and related activities.

Keeping Our Digital Presence on Track

  • Work with external advertising agencies, digital marketing partners, and website vendors to coordinate requests, updates, and deliverables.
  • Help keep our property websites accurate and up to date, including floor plans, rates, photos, promotions, and community information.
  • Conduct regular reviews of property websites to identify outdated information or inconsistencies.
  • Coordinate project timelines, approvals, and deadlines, ensuring the right people have the information they need.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding requests, helping remove roadblocks and keep projects on schedule.

Bringing Marketing & Leasing Initiatives to Life

  • Support our Marketing and Leasing Leadership teams with the coordination and rollout of new initiatives, programs, and campaigns across the US portfolio.
  • Help organize project communications, timelines, resources, and deliverables to support successful execution.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain organized digital files, marketing asset libraries, and departmental resources.
  • Assist with preparing reports, presentations, meeting materials, and project updates that help our teams stay informed and aligned.

Connecting People, Teams & Priorities

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Leasing, Training, Technology, Systems, and Accounting to support property needs.
  • Help connect requests with the right teams and resources, ensuring clear ownership and timely follow-through.
  • Build positive working relationships with our onsite teams, corporate colleagues, and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, simplify workflows, and make it easier for our teams to get things done.

Sounds good so far? Here's what you'll bring:

We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys being the person who helps everything come together.

The essentials:

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, customer service, or operational support role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines on track.
  • Great attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset and a willingness to jump in and help.
  • Confidence working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and proactively following up to get things done.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in student housing, multifamily housing, property management, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, lead management platforms, website content management systems, or project management tools.
  • Experience supporting marketing operations, coordinating vendors, or managing administrative workflows.
  • Student housing or marketing experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We're equally interested in people who bring strong coordination skills, a willingness to learn, and the right attitude.

How You'll Live Our Values

Pioneering — Finding Better Ways

  • You're curious, adaptable, and always looking for opportunities to make processes simpler and more effective. You're comfortable learning new systems, embracing change, and finding solutions when challenges arise.

Purposeful — Making Things Happen

  • You take ownership of your work and understand how the details contribute to the bigger picture. You're dependable, organized, and committed to following through, knowing that your work helps our teams deliver a better experience for our students.

Positive — Better Together

  • You bring a collaborative, approachable attitude to your work. You enjoy helping others, building relationships, and being someone colleagues can count on, even when things get busy.

What Success Looks Like

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy creating order out of competing priorities, keeping projects moving, and helping people find solutions.

Success means our onsite teams feel supported, marketing requests are handled accurately and on time, our digital information stays current, and our marketing and leasing initiatives are coordinated effectively.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes pride in the details, communicates proactively, and makes life easier for the teams around you.

As part of the Yugo team, you are eligible for a competitive salary, bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits and more! Here’s a snapshot of what we offer;

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous benefits package! Including health, dental and vision
  • 401k + 4% employer matching
