Title: Software Dev Engineer - Software Dev Engineer IV
Location: Westborough, Massachusetts(Hybrid)
Duration: Contract on W2 only
Must haves:

  • Ability to Architect, but this is a hands on role, 15 percent project design, 80 percent hands on, 5 percent meetings
Job Description
Role Overview:
You will design and develop web-based dashboards, metrics visualizations, and user interfaces that enable service operators to monitor and manage our robotics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance operational tools that provide real-time insights and actionable data.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop web-based dashboards and metrics visualizations.
  • Create user interfaces for monitoring and managing robotics systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable operational tools.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-performance tools providing real-time insights and data.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of front-end web development experience with expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience designing and implementing operational dashboards and metrics visualizations for technical users.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
  • Proficiency in data visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Recharts and handling time-series data.
  • Proven experience delivering scalable, high-performance web UIs in production environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with TypeScript and query languages such as PromQL, LogQL, or CloudWatch Insights Query Language.
  • Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies like WebSockets or Server-Sent Events and alerting systems.
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or Datadog and/or log aggregation platforms like Elasticsearch or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Background developing interfaces for industrial, robotics, or infrastructure applications with knowledge of SRE practices.
