Role: Jr. Software Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Linux-based applications and scripts.
- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
- Perform system-level programming, debugging, and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
- Create shell scripts (Bash/Python) for automation, deployment, and monitoring tasks.
- Collaborate with database teams to ensure data consistency and performance optimization.
- Monitor system performance and perform root-cause analysis for issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1- 2+ years of experience in Linux software/system development or system engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, file systems, and process management.
- Proficiency in SQL — query optimization, joins, and stored procedures (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Experience in Bash scripting or Python for automation
