Our client is looking for an Platform Engineering Leader for a project and below is the detailed requirement.

Job Title: Platform Engineering Leader

Locations: NYC, NY

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in Engineering Leadership, Platform Engineering, or Technology Delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams, drive technical delivery, and ensure code quality.
  • Hands-on understanding of modern software engineering practices and application architecture.
  • Experience driving AI / GenAI adoption using OpenAI, Copilot, LLM-powered solutions, or similar technologies.
  • Strong experience in SRE transformation, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Experience with SDLC modernization, engineering productivity, and development process improvements.
  • Expertise in Architecture Reviews, Technical Governance, and engineering standards.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Platform Engineering practices is a plus.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
