Job Description

Rapidly growing banking business, providing a range of banking and financial solutions and are investing heavily in growth, technology and operational excellence.

Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and address any discrepancies.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process as needed.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CPA or CIMA), or nearing qualification.
  • Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience of month-end close, reconciliations and financial control.
  • Exposure to statutory accounts and external audit processes.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with finance systems and a proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
