Job Description

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale distributed Hadoop clusters and cloud infrastructure in enterprise Linux environments. • Implement configuration management and system automation using Puppet and Salt. • Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Perl. • Support distributed data stores including Accumulo and Cassandra. • Assist with AWS cloud architecture, container deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, and monitoring via Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Grafana.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 3+ years • Required Certifications: Cloud System Administrator • Total Compensation: $244k+ yearly Job Description: • Provide hands-on administration, monitoring, and maintenance for large-scale Hadoop clusters and cloud computing systems. • Troubleshoot and support distributed systems and data stores including Hadoop, Accumulo, and Cassandra. • Administer core Linux operating system functions, user and group management in LDAP, and network provisioning including DHCP, DNS, TFTP, and PXE. • Create and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management code using Puppet and Salt. • Develop and optimize scripts in Python, Bash, or Perl to automate administrative workflows and operational tasks. • Support AWS cloud architecture design, system integration, and security best practices. • Assist with containerization and orchestration utilizing Docker and Kubernetes. • Aggregate and analyze system metrics and logs using Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Grafana.
