Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainee Bridging Case Manager, with a bridging lender based in the City of London

The potential to grow into an Underwriter role within our regulated team. This position involves managing Bridging Loan applications from inception through to completion, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and career with a rapidly growing financial services provider.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with brokers to obtain required documents and expedite loan applications.
  • Manage expectations and deadlines while providing excellent service to encourage repeat business.
  • Support Underwriters by answering telephone calls and handling correspondence via post and email.
  • Prepare loan contracts, mortgage illustrations, and other documentation.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and management within the company’s CRM system.
  • Track and record account activity to help close deals.
  • Obtain property information and valuation quotes.
  • Handle ad hoc administration and projects.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Mortgage Lending or Secured Loan processes.
  • Preferred experience in managing caseloads and processing applications efficiently.
  • Commercial awareness with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Independent, organised, and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Proactive and confident in managing processes.
  • Experience managing high-volume workflows and prioritising tasks.
  • Excellent organisational and PC skills, including Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, with a mature outlook and a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in broking administration or lending is desirable.
