Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant to support and enhance SAP Finance solutions for a leading retail organization.
  • The consultant will serve as both the SAP FICO Functional Lead and Onsite Delivery Lead, driving application support, enhancements, change requests, testing, and implementation activities across SAP Finance landscapes.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP FICO, RE-FX (Contract Lease Management), and Project Systems (PS), with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions while coordinating onsite and offshore delivery teams.
  • This role requires hands-on configuration experience, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead end-to-end solution delivery.
Experience Required:
  • 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.
  • Recent hands-on experience with SAP RE-FX and SAP Project Systems.
  • Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations and application support environments.
Required Skills:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead SAP FICO functional delivery and serve as the primary onsite consultant for business and IT stakeholders.
  • Support SAP FICO, RE-FX, and Project Systems modules through incident management, enhancements, change requests, and production support activities.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Map business requirements into user stories, design documents, and functional requirement specifications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Configure and support SAP Finance solutions, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive full-cycle implementation activities including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
  • Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, enhancements, and support activities.
  • Lead unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution efforts.
  • Collaborate with business users to optimize financial processes and improve system efficiency.
  • Provide knowledge transfer, user training, and documentation for new functionality and process improvements.
  • Participate in solution reviews and recommend process improvements leveraging SAP best practices.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to project timelines and service-level commitments.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience with strong configuration and support expertise.
  • Proven experience with SAP RE-FX (Contract Lease Management).
  • Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS).
  • Experience supporting production environments, incident management, enhancements, and change requests.
  • Strong experience creating functional specifications and translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Experience leading onsite delivery and coordinating with offshore teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
