Job Description

Your new company Hays is partnering with a large and complex organisation undertaking a major network transformation program across more than 95 sites. We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide deep technical expertise across voice, data, security, and enterprise network infrastructure while supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of a large-scale multi-site environment.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile project, working closely with architects, project teams, and vendors to validate network designs, build Proof of Concept (PoC) environments, and support enterprise-grade networking solutions.

Your new role

As the Network Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating network architecture, producing detailed technical documentation, supporting network implementation activities, and ensuring solutions align with cybersecurity and operational requirements. You will provide expert support across routing and switching, WAN/LAN infrastructure, network security platforms, cloud networking initiatives, and enterprise voice services.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience with Zscaler, Fortinet, and Juniper technologies.
  • Strong experience producing HLD and LLD documentation within enterprise environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and network segmentation.
  • Strong routing and switching expertise across LAN/WAN environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or multi-site network environments.
  • Solid understanding of the Essential Eight cybersecurity framework.
  • CCNP certification (or equivalent).
  • Relevant industry certifications across networking, security, cloud, or SD-WAN technologies.
