Job Description

Indigitise is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work effectively withtechnical teams, including development teams, hosting platform teams andEnterprise Integration Teams.

DevOps Engineers willestablish and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories and artefacts,ensuring deployed applications remain current in their toolsets, resilient,secure and automated wherever possible. In collaboration with other teams inthe work area, the role will investigate and resolve complex issues affectingapplication operations.

Thecandidate must hold an active NV1 security clearance prior to commencement.

Requirements

Keyduties and responsibilities

The role will be responsiblefor, but not limited to:

• Designing, implementingand managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes for developedsolutions while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and reliability.
• Overseeing theconfiguration and management of development, testing and production hostingenvironments, ensuring accurate replication of real-world conditions forrigorous integration testing.
• Applying advancedscripting and automation skills using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates,Bicep and YAML to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Implementingcomprehensive monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability andsecurity of integration solutions, and configuring alerting systems to enableproactive issue resolution.
• Integrating automatedtesting into CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality and reliability,including security testing practices, Static Application Security Testing(SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
• Working closely withcross functional teams, including developers, Cyber Security, system analysts,integration testers and other stakeholders, to align DevOps practices withproject goals and timelines and foster collaboration.
• Maintainingcomprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations and bestpractices to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Performing additionalduties or assuming responsibility for functions as directed from time to time.
