Enterprise Business Analyst – Digital Signage

Duration: 12 months (Contract – NO BENEFITS)

Position Overview

The organization is seeking an Enterprise Business Analyst to support a Digital Signage Solution Project. The project aims to develop a centralized digital signage solution to support the display and management of information throughout courthouses.

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, business representatives, project managers, developers, QA resources, and technical teams to assess existing signage capabilities, identify business needs, document current-state processes, and define functional and non-functional requirements.

The project follows an Agile development methodology. The selected candidate will support backlog management, requirements gathering, sprint planning, user story development, and acceptance criteria definition.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive current-state assessments of existing courthouse digital signage solutions.
• Evaluate existing functionality, business processes, system integrations, hardware dependencies, and operational requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain epics, features, and user stories.
• Define business rules and testable acceptance criteria.
• Use Azure DevOps or other designated Agile project management tools to manage product backlogs.
• Collaborate with project teams to prioritize and continuously refine product backlogs.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Work closely with software developers, QA resources, and technical SMEs to clarify requirements.
• Collaborate with QA teams and business stakeholders to develop test scenarios and validate acceptance criteria.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of completed functionality.
• Demonstrate completed functionality to business stakeholders.
• Document stakeholder feedback and incorporate approved enhancements into future sprint backlogs.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain communication with project stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Business Analysis: Minimum 4 years of enterprise software development project experience.
• Agile Methodology: Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Scrum: Experience working in Scrum environments.
• Requirements Gathering: Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
• User Stories: Experience developing epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Azure DevOps: Experience using Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.
• Product Backlog: Experience developing, managing, prioritizing, and refining backlogs.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience facilitating stakeholder requirements sessions.
• Current-State Analysis: Demonstrated experience conducting current-state assessments.
• System Integration: Experience identifying system integration requirements.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication.
• Documentation: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 4 years of Enterprise Business Analysis experience.
• Minimum 4 years of Agile/Scrum experience.
• Hands-on experience developing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Azure DevOps experience or equivalent Agile management tool.
• Current-state assessment and process analysis.
