About TWO12

TWO12 | GOLFTEC Events is an experiential marketing agency specializing in sports, with a primary concentration in golf. We partner with top brands, rights holders, and properties to design and deliver live activations and hospitality environments at premier competitive events.

We operate as an end-to-end agency. Strategy, design, fabrication, logistics, and on-site execution are all held in house, supported by our own fabrication facility and warehouse. For a designer, that means the work you draw gets built fifty feet away by people you can walk over and talk to and you see it stand up in the field.

The Bigger Team You'll Join

TWO12 | GOLFTEC Events is featured at a plethora of PGA Tour events and Major Championships, including The Players, The Masters, PGA Championship, Tour Championship and more!

The Role

The Experiential Designer bridges client presentation and fabrication execution. This position produces the photorealistic SketchUp visualization that secures client approval, and the construction documentation that allows our fabrication team to build directly from it. Both outputs are core to the role.

Advanced SketchUp proficiency is the central technical requirement of this position.

Visualization and client presentation

  • Model activations in SketchUp based on creative direction, site surveys, and venue documentation
  • Produce photorealistic renderings for pitch materials, client approvals, and property submissions, with command of lighting, materials, and environmental context
  • Develop presentation context including site plans, aerial views, and guest-perspective sightlines
  • Deliver revisions on compressed timelines during active pitch cycles without loss of quality
  • Support Sales team with Powerpoint presentation development.

Construction documentation

  • Produce fabrication-ready drawings: plans, elevations, sections, details, cut lists, and hardware and material specifications
  • Partner with fabrication leads on constructability, including material selection, joinery, panelization, weight, transport breakdown, and field reassembly
  • Draft scaled site and venue layouts from surveys and CAD files
  • Maintain a component and asset library to support reuse of recurring elements

Graphic production

  • Prepare print-ready large-format files, including dielines, bleeds, color management, and vendor specification compliance
  • Maintain client brand standards across all applied graphics
  • Support Digital Requirements for our client programming which includes emails, microsites, digital displays, and more.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, including LayOut for documentation
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in a rendering engine (V-Ray, Enscape, or equivalent) with demonstrated command of lighting and materials
  • Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Portfolio demonstrating both presentation-quality rendering and construction documentation
  • Large-format print production experience is helpful but not necessary, including prepress requirements and vendor specifications
  • Collaborative approach to design review, with willingness to revise for constructability
  • Availability for travel during active season to support installation oversight and field verification

Preferred

  • Background in scenic, exhibit, trade show, or experiential fabrication
  • CNC/CAM familiarity, including nesting for sheet goods
  • AutoCAD, Rhino, or Vectorworks
  • Animation or walkthrough capability
  • Working knowledge of structural considerations including load, wind rating, and ballast

Travel and Seasonality

Our business follows the competitive golf calendar.

February through August is our active season. This role requires domestic travel during installation and event windows to support on-site design oversight and field verification, including early call times, extended hours, and weekend and holiday work.

September through January is primarily based in Denver, Colorado, focused on design and documentation for the coming season, with limited travel and a more conventional schedule.

Benefits and additional compensation: up to 50% medical reimbursable, 401k matching, FTO, education allowance, phone allowance, wellness allowance.

TWO12 | GOLFTEC Events is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
