Job Description

TheirCare Plus is a registered NDIS provider specialising in delivering inclusive, evidence-informed programs for children and young people with complex disabilities.

We pride ourselves on supporting children and families through high-quality services that are person-centred, safe, and aligned with the NDIS Practice Standards. We work collaboratively with families and stakeholders to ensure every young person receives the support they need to thrive.

We're now seeking a dedicated and experienced manager to lead our program at Bulleen Heights site. If you have a background in disability, education or children's services, and thrive in leadership roles, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

About your new role:

Have the opportunity to open a brand new service and lead the team in our Queensland service!

  • Lead a team delivering high-quality daily support for children and young people with complex disability needs
  • Design and oversee inclusive programs aligned with participant NDIS goals
  • Manage daily operations with a focus on safety, service quality, and compliance
  • Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and reflective practice
  • Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualised care
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in line with NDIS and internal quality systems
  • Promote a fun, inclusive, and empowering environment where young people can thrive
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience leading teams in disability, education, or community services
  • Confidence managing services for children with high and complex needs
  • Strong understanding of person-centred active support and inclusive practice
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Requirements:
  • Previous experience and confidence in the disability support and childcare sector is ideal but not essential
  • Previous leadership experience in a disability or child-focused setting
  • Working towards or holding a relevant qualification at a minimum of Certificate III level in one of the following areas: Education, Community and Social Services, Health and Medical, Disability and Aged Care, or Allied Health.
  • EmployeeBlue Cart for Queensland.
  • ValidHLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting(including First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training).
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate.
  • Mandatory Reporting Certificate.
  • Proof of Right to work in Australia.
