Systems Engineer | El Segundo, CA | Hybrid We are hiring on behalf of a leading professional services firm renowned for its impactful work in national security and its commitment to empowering clients through innovative solutions. This is an opportunity to join a top-priority space program and contribute to the development of next-generation defense capabilities. The Role • Collaborate with colleagues, support contractors, and government personnel to develop and deploy advanced satellite communications capabilities. • Serve as a key Systems Integrator, ensuring successful integration of space, ground, and crypto segments to meet user requirements. • Provide direct support to the Chief Engineer and manage the internal engineering team for the program office. • Leverage technical expertise and innovative thinking to deliver critical capabilities addressing national security threats. • Contribute to program reviews and the risk management process for complex defense acquisition programs. What You'll Need • 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or integration for DoD satellite or ground systems. • Experience with DoD program reviews (e.g., SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR). • Proven experience with risk management for space, ground, software, and hardware systems within Major Defense Acquisition Programs. • Familiarity with identifying, analyzing, and managing program risks, issues, and opportunities. • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Digital Engineering approaches. • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. • A Secret clearance.
