The Role

• Assemble steel structures in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV).
• Install high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting components like HV clamps and insulators.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of screwed and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly.
• Review and mark up plan documents based on site revisions.
• Contribute to projects focused on expanding and modernizing energy infrastructure.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in locksmithing, preferably within construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or the metalworking industry.
• Ideally, experience working safely with electrical installations.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to construction sites.
• Readiness for regular, nationwide assembly work throughout Western Germany with overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a proactive, motivated work attitude.
