Enterprise Infrastructure Architect
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of large-scale enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud migration, along with expertise in various technologies such as Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Windows Server, RHEL, Kubernetes, Docker, WebLogic, JBoss, Oracle, SQL Server, CyberArk, Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Okta, and Azure AD.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Ensure that IT infrastructure operations follow ITIL best practices.
- Manage and maintain networking components such as Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, routers, and switches.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of operating systems including Windows Server, RHEL, and OEL.
- Manage and support container technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Support and optimize middleware applications including Apache, WebLogic, WildFly, and JBoss EAP.
- Administer and maintain databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MariaDB, and Azure Synapse.
- Implement and manage security solutions like CyberArk/Thycotic, Splunk, Tenable/Qualys, Okta, and Azure AD/Entra ID.
- Lead on-premises to cloud migration projects.
- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage relationships with key partners.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale IT infrastructure operations using ITIL best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with networking, operating systems, containers, middleware, databases, and security technologies.
- Active CISSP certification.
- 2+ years of experience with on-premises to cloud migration.
- Experience in infrastructure modernization, security, technical leadership, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
