Systems Engineer Stf - E4 with Security Clearance

Job Number 18882 Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience using DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody
• Experience in Mission Systems (MS) system design and development
• Final Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years
• Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or STEM related discipline

Desired Skills

• Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
• Experience executing in a digital engineering environment (i.e., MBSE and digital twin)
• Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel, JIRA and Access)
• Experience with operating modeling tools
• Experience with systems engineering processes
