Outside Sales Representative - Telecommunications Services

Cable One, operating as Sparklight, is seeking a driven Direct Sales Representative to grow residential and small business customers for our high-speed internet, TV, and phone services. In this field-based role, you will prospect door-to-door, follow up on leads, and build relationships within local communities to present tailored connectivity solutions. You'll explain plans, pricing, and promotions, coordinate installs, and work closely with local teams to meet or exceed sales goals. Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify residential and small business customers for Sparklight services within assigned territory.
• Conduct in-person and phone-based sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Explain internet, TV, and phone plans, pricing, and promotions clearly and accurately.
• Use CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activity.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with local teams on community events and outreach to generate leads.
• Coordinate installation appointments and ensure a smooth handoff to service teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors, market trends, and product updates.
• Provide responsive follow-up and support to new customers to reduce churn.
