Quality Control Inspector II
Location: Orange, FL
Required Clearance: None Since 1999, ITEC has delivered mission-critical support to the DoD and Intelligence Community. Job Description: The Quality Control Inspector II ensures that component parts, assemblies and major sub-systems meet internal and customer quality standards.
Job Responsibilities and
Required Skills
- Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics and working QC instructions.
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection/test on parts, assemblies, and major sub-systems.
- Maintaining a high level of communication with all departments involved in the manufacturing process.
- Ability to use physical dimension test measuring devices, calipers, and micrometers.
- Recording inspection and test results in the inspection database.
- Document and report on nonconformances.
- Working with Excel spreadsheets and use MS Word to create documents such as Quality Inspection Checklists.
- Training and mentoring of Quality Control Inspector I.
- Managing calibration of equipment.
Desired Skills
- Work experience or Certificates of Training in Physical dimensional Calibration, Certification of Quality disciplines, TQM, and general knowledge of ISO 9001:2000.
- Certified Quality Technician by ASQ; Certified Quality Inspector by ASQ.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and CostPoint.
