Automated Gate Engineer

Royston, Hertfordshire, SG8 0NZ (1 hour radius)

£38,000 to £42,000base salary, plus:

• Van
• 28 days holiday (additional days with length of service)
• Full uniform including boots and waterproofs
• Pension
• No call out

40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. No weekends or bank holidays.

A successful, well established, family run business supplying, fitting, repairing and servicing automated gates, barriers, bollards, entry systems, intercoms and GSM units. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company that offers job security with no call out or weekend work.

TheGate Automation EngineerRole

A field based role working from home, repairing and servicing automated entry systems primarily at domestic premises within a one hour radius of Royston. Some commercial and school work is also involved. You will carry out fault finding and repairs on automated gates. Work is issued through a mobile app and you will only need to visit the company site for spare parts once or twice a week.

There can occasionally be some groundworks when fitting new posts, ground loops and similar.

TheGate Automation EngineerCandidate

• Service background
• Must have experience repairing and fault finding automated gates, barriers, intercoms and GSM units
• Experience with retrofits of replacement motors and parts
• Looking for a full time permanent role offering excellent work life balance
• Knowledge of gate safety (DHF qualification preferred)
