The role of Business Development Manager is offered at an exciting stage of Warrikal's growth journey. Having gained a significant footprint and strong capability, we now seek to appoint a Business Development Manager to focus on identifying and securing new opportunities, thereby growing our market presence across the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with client decision-makers and influencers across tier-one accounts
• Working closely with delivery leaders to ensure client commitments are realistic and aligned to capability.
• Establishing and maintaining a qualified pipeline from lead generation through to contract award, with clear stages, win plans and next actions
• Leading major tenders, proposals and presentations end-to-end, including strategy, teaming, pricing inputs, differentiators, and executive review packs
• Providing market insight and intelligence and developing strategies that are evidence-based and aligned to client value drivers, risk appetite and contracting models
• Developing business cases for investment in new markets, capabilities or partnerships, including expected returns and resourcing requirements
• Modelling Warrikal values, strengthening a respectful, accountable culture, and contributing to building a high-performing BD and proposal function.

About You

With a proven background in Business Development within Sustaining Capital, Maintenance or Brownfields delivery, you possess an excellent track record of identifying and converting relevant opportunities into tenders and proposals. Your ability to 'go the extra mile' whilst engaging across executive and operational stakeholders will ensure award is translated into outstanding delivery.
