Roadside Rescue Patrol (40 hrs)
Location: Ayrshire
Contract: Full-time, permanent. You’ll work an average 40-hour week, with a variety of shift pattern options available. You can choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs.

As our Roadside Rescue Patrol, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. What will I be doing?
- Starting and finishing on your driveway, paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home
- Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team
- Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience
- Solving problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations
What do I need?
- NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
- A full Category B driving licence, with six points or fewer
- Confidence using and adapting to new technology; we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays, because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule

Guaranteed earnings comprise a contractual base salary of £38,270 plus a location allowance of £2,118. Top performer earnings up to £60,000 are based on shift pattern options selected and achievement of performance targets. These earnings are not guaranteed.
