Job Description

Golang Developer – Backend / Distributed Systems

Location: Fremont, CA (Local Only)
Onsite: 5 Days/Week
Duration: 6–12 Months Contract + Potential CTH
Type: W2 / 1099

We are seeking a hands-on Golang Developer with strong backend and distributed systems experience. The ideal candidate should be able to write production-quality Go code, design scalable systems, and demonstrate real ownership of production applications.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on Golang / Go
  • Backend development and REST APIs
  • Distributed systems & system design
  • Go concurrency – goroutines, channels, context, synchronization
  • Kubernetes / K8s
  • CI/CD
  • SQL + NoSQL databases
  • Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Production troubleshooting and monitoring
  • Experience building platform/infrastructure tooling
  • Experience with scalable, high-traffic systems

Nice to Have

  • gRPC
  • MongoDB
