Title: .Net Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC Hybrid, On Site Tuesday/Wednesday

Type: Contract

What You ll Do:
The .Net Engineer will support the modernization of a customer-facing web application currently built in classic ASP. The application is externally accessible and runs on on-premises infrastructure. The goal is to modernize the application using the latest .NET framework (targeting .NET 10) and migrate it to cloud hosting (Azure or AWS).

We re seeking experienced .Net Engineers who can:

• Analyze and refactor legacy classic ASP code
• Rebuild the application using modern .NET patterns
• Collaborate with our internal developers on architecture, migration strategy, and best practices
• Support deployment and cloud-readiness as part of the modernization effort
• Work with Agile teams to report daily/weekly progress and report any issues/roadblocks.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience with classic ASP.
• Strong experience with modern .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC / Web APIs)
• Experience modernizing or rewriting legacy web applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) is a strong plus
• Understanding of security, performance, and maintainability concerns in externally facing applications
