Job Description

The Opportunity

At Praxis, we dare for more. We're building the capabilities to bring transformative therapies to patients with CNS disorders, and we're looking for curious, resourceful problem-solvers who thrive on turning complex challenges into meaningful results.

In this role, you will help Praxis make smarter decisions, solve tough problems, and turn insights into action. You will dig beyond the initial question, challenge assumptions, connect data and perspectives, and help teams understand what's happening, why it matters, and what we should do next. You will bring strong analytical thinking, a passion for data, and the creativity to find solutions that go beyond the numbers.

You will have the opportunity to make an impact across sales, marketing, market access, patient services, and clinical and commercial operations. Whether you're building a performance dashboard, simplifying a process, or driving a cross-functional initiative forward, you will bring structure to ambiguity, move with urgency, and own the outcome. Your scope will evolve as our business grows, giving you the opportunity to continuously learn, take on new challenges, and build what comes next.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex business questions into actionable insights, clear recommendations, and informed decisions.
  • Analyze claims, prescription, patient services, specialty pharmacy, sales, marketing, and other data sources to uncover trends, explain performance, and identify opportunities.
  • Develop compelling dashboards, visualizations, and presentations that connect data to business priorities and drive action.
  • Support patient journey analytics, segmentation, campaign measurement, field effectiveness, and other evolving commercial priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring analyses, simplify reporting, expand self-service capabilities, and leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve speed and effectiveness.
  • Tackle evolving business challenges across commercial and clinical operations, including process improvement, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on execution.
  • Take ownership of initiatives from problem definition through execution, proactively addressing roadblocks and delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, business, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical function, preferably within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with commercial and healthcare data, including claims, prescription, patient services, specialty pharmacy, sales, or marketing data.
  • Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools, with an interest in leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, adaptability, and willingness to take on unfamiliar challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality results.
  • Natural curiosity, collaborative approach, and willingness to challenge assumptions, share candid feedback, and continuously improve how work gets done.
  • The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. You'll need comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
