AI ARCHITECT

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI and LLM-based solutions using the SoundHound Amelia platform and AWS.
• Develop and optimize AI agents, prompts, tool/function integrations, guardrails, and orchestration workflows.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, MCP (Model Context Protocol) services, and third-party enterprise systems.
• Design and implement AWS-based solutions using services such as:
• Lambda
• API Gateway
• S3
• IAM
• CloudWatch
• EventBridge/SQS/Step Functions
• Create Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Support deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production operations.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards.

Required Background

• 6+ years of software engineering, cloud engineering, or AI development experience (4+ years with a Master's degree).
• Proven experience personally building and shipping production systems.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Agentic AI / LLM applications
• Prompt engineering
• Tool/function calling
• Multi-agent workflows
• RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
• Strong AWS experience, especially:
• Lambda
• API Gateway
• S3
• IAM
• CloudWatch
• Infrastructure as Code
• Strong REST API design and integration experience.
• Experience with MCP or similar AI tool/service orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based troubleshooting.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• SoundHound Amelia experience (training provided).
• Conversational AI platforms such as , Cognigy, Dialogflow, Rasa, Amazon Lex, or Bedrock.
• Healthcare/HIPAA experience.
• AWS certifications.
• ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD, or voice/telephony integrations.
