HPC Infrastructure Engineer - Semiconductor / EDA

Contract | Remote | Part-time or Full-time | Rate DOE

I'm working with a semiconductor company looking for an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer / Architect to support the development and evolution of their engineering compute environment.

This isn't purely a Slurm administration role. We're looking for someone who understands HPC infrastructure in an EDA/semiconductor environment and the demands that ASIC/SoC engineering workloads place on the underlying compute platform.

What we're looking for

• Strong HPC / compute cluster infrastructure experience
• Experience with Slurm preferred; other HPC schedulers such as LSF or Grid Engine also relevant
• Previous exposure to EDA tooling/environments - Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens/Mentor etc.
• Strong Linux infrastructure background
• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS
• Experience supporting compute environments used for ASIC/SoC design, verification, simulation or similar engineering workloads
• Data centre/infrastructure migration experience would be advantageous

The requirement can be structured on either a part-time or full-time contract basis , with flexibility around working arrangements.
