Civils Project Manager – Data Centre Project<br />Location: Blyth, Northumberland<br />Salary: £90,000 – £95,000 + Benefits<br />A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to join a major data centre development in Blyth, Northumberland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project, managing the delivery of key civils and groundworks packages from pre-construction through to completion.<br />The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.<br />Key Responsibilities<br />• Manage the delivery of civils and groundworks packages across a major data centre project<br />• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget<br />• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and site teams<br />• Manage quality control, inspections, and compliance with project specifications<br />• Monitor progress against the construction programme and drive delivery of key milestones<br />• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle<br />• Ensure compliance with health &amp; safety, environmental, and quality requirements<br />• Provide leadership and support to site teams to maintain a positive project environment Requirements<br />• Proven experience delivering large-scale civils projects as a Project Manager<br />• Strong background in groundworks, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure works<br />• Experience on data centre, industrial, energy, or large commercial projects preferred<br />• Strong knowledge of construction methods, programming, and site management<br />• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills<br />• Relevant construction qualification (Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent) Package<br />• Salary: £90,000 – £95,000 DOE<br />• Competitive benefits package<br />• Opportunity to work on a landmark data centre development in the North East
