• Lead in the surveillance, prevention, and control of infections within the hospital setting.
• Promote and maintain high standards of infection prevention and control practices to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Act as a professional role model, demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to providing high standards of patient care.
• Contribute to education and improvement initiatives in infection prevention and control.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing excellent communication and flexibility.

• *What You'll Need**
• Registered Nurse educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Current NMC registration.
• Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of recent update in infection prevention and control practices.
• Experience in acute surgical care environment.
• Previous experience and knowledge of infection prevention and control at ward/departmental level.
