Must Have:

·         Strong IBM z/OS Storage Management experience.

·         Hands-on experience with Hitachi Disk Storage (HDS VSP, USP, VSP G Series).

·         Experience with IBM Virtual Tape Systems (VTS/VTL).

·         Strong knowledge of DFSMS, SMS, Storage Groups, and Client routines.

·         Experience with DASD allocation, provisioning, migration, reclamation, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities:

·         Administer and support IBM mainframe storage infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

·         Manage DASD using Hitachi storage subsystems.

·         Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VTS/VTL and physical tape environments.

·         Manage storage allocation, capacity, migration, and performance.

·         Support DFSMS/SMS policies and storage groups.
