About the Role

Become part of a mission-critical cybersecurity team as a Senior Systems Security Engineer, protecting the Navy’s networks and systems from evolving threats. You’ll lead vulnerability assessments, accreditation activities, and risk mitigation efforts. What You’ll Do: Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls and best practices. Conduct STIG scans, RMF compliance checks, and accreditation documentation. Perform system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Collaborate with engineers, ISSOs, and stakeholders to maintain system security.

What You’ll Bring: 6+ years in cybersecurity engineering, preferably with DoD/Navy systems. IAT Level III certification required. Expertise in NIST 800-53, RMF, DISA STIG, and SCAP tools. Strong analytical mindset and commitment to cyber excellence.
