Role: Junior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator
Location: Downtown, NYC – Hybrid
Duration: 12+month contract J
Summary:
Looking for a Junior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator with 3-5 years of experience to support and enhance the PI Data Historian infrastructure for Electric and Gas Control Center operations. This role is responsible for the administration, integration, support, and continuous improvement of a large-scale enterprise PI environment supporting mission-critical operational systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI technologies, high-availability (HA) infrastructure, operational technology (OT) integrations, and enterprise analytics solutions.

Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and enhance a large-scale enterprise PI System supporting over 1.5 million PI tags.
- Assist with the implementation and support of HA/DR solutions for PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and PI Vision.
- Configure and maintain PI AF Elements, Element Templates, Analytics, Event Frames, Notifications, and PI dashboards.
- Develop and support PI dashboards, reports, and custom applications using PI SDK, AF SDK, PI OLEDB, PowerShell, and related technologies.
- Integrate PI with enterprise systems using PI API, OPC DA/UA, PI to PI, DNP3, and RDBMS interfaces.
- Support the PI Data Historian environment for Electric, Gas, and Steam Control Center operations.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high system availability.
- Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule.
- Maintain technical documentation and disaster recovery procedures.
- Work with project teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable operational solutions.
