Job Title: Tableau Developer

Location:  1201 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD

Job Type:  Long Term Contract (W2 / 1099)

Degree Certificates are mandatory to Submit.

The Client is seeking a Tableau Development Specialist to develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep. The candidate will follow the Client's standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for reporting.
• Follow the Client's Center of Excellence procedures for projects.
• Develop and maintain data models based on Client requirements and needs.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of solutions and instructional procedures.
• Attend Client meetings as required.
• Provide regular status updates on assigned tasks to the Client supervisor.
• Provide after-hours support as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Developer.
• Experience as a BI Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools/software.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse, data lakehouse, and data mart concepts.
• At least 1 year of experience creating SQL queries.
• At least 1 year of experience with Tableau Desktop.
• At least 1 year of experience using Tableau Server.
• At least 1 year of experience using Tableau Prep.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Python programming language.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
