The Ask? Client is looking for a ServiceNow Sol. Architect ( BCM / IRM ) with a solid and progressive consulting experience to design, implement, and optimize our BCM processes within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow solution architecture, specifically with a deep understanding of foundation data setup, BCM plan development, roles and access control, data migration, and reporting within the ServiceNow ecosystem. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to translate business requirements into robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
MUST HAVES (Certifications)
- Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- ServiceNow Micro Certification – Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in a relevant domain (e.g., Risk and Compliance, BCM, GRC, IRM)
- Experience with other ServiceNow GRC modules (IRM, Vendor Risk Management)
- Experience in utility, energy, public sector, or regulated industry environments
- Familiarity with industry BCM standards (e.g., ISO 22301) and other risk/compliance frameworks (e.g.- NIST, COBIT, SOX)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define and own the end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture aligned with business and IT strategy.
- Architect and Design BCM Solutions: Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive BCM solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead BCM and IRM architecture aligned with continuity, resilience, risk, compliance, and regulatory needs.
- Configure BCM foundation data, including services, applications, locations, dependencies, teams, processes, risks, and related data structures.
- Design and support BCM plan management, including continuity, recovery, crisis, templates, scenarios, and approval workflows.
- Lead IRM architecture for risk, controls, issues, remediation, compliance mapping, policy alignment, and reporting.
- Implement BCM/IRM role-based access controls with proper segregation of duties, secure access, and governance alignment.
- Lead workshops to capture requirements, assess current state, define future state, and produce user stories, designs, and plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, IT, risk/compliance, BCM/IRM, developers, testers, and project leadership.
- Oversee ServiceNow configuration and design, including UI policies/actions, business rules, scripts, flows, integrations, notifications, dashboards, and reports.
- Support data migration into ServiceNow BCM/IRM while ensuring quality, integrity, and traceability.
Deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics for BCM health, risk, compliance, issues, remediation, and leadership reporting.
Skills & Experience
- 14+ years of ServiceNow experience, including architecture, implementation, technical leadership, and consulting.
- 5+ years preferred in ServiceNow BCM and/or IRM, including implementation, configuration, process design, architecture, and advisory.
- Hands-on ServiceNow BCM experience with foundation data, plans, BIA, testing, crisis management, disaster recovery, approvals, notifications, dashboards, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow IRM/GRC, including risk, policy, compliance, controls, issues, assessments, remediation, and reporting.
- Experience designing complex ServiceNow solutions across BCM, IRM, GRC, ITSM, ITBM/SPM, workflows, integrations, reporting, and security.
- Experience designing ServiceNow roles, groups, access controls, and security models for compliant processes.
- Hands-on experience configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, workflows, notifications, integrations, reports, and dashboards.
- Experience leading workshops, gathering requirements, documenting future-state processes, and creating user stories and solution designs.
- Experience with data migration strategy, mapping, validation, and execution from legacy tools, spreadsheets, or source systems into ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business, technical, and leadership stakeholders in fast-paced projects.
