Sr. ERP Test Program Lead

Resource 1 is in need of an experienced Sr. ERP Test Program Lead to lead the enterprise testing strategy for a large-scale ERP implementation with a leading food distribution organization. This is a senior-level contract opportunity responsible for ensuring the ERP and its surrounding technology ecosystem are thoroughly tested and ready to support the business at go-live. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end testing across business processes, applications, integrations, data, locations, and user groups, working closely with business leadership, IT teams, system integrators, application teams, and other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall enterprise ERP testing strategy and program.
• Develop and manage testing plans, standards, governance, and execution.
• Oversee system and integration testing, end-to-end business process testing, UAT, regression testing, data migration validation, performance/volume testing, security/role testing, and cutover validation.
• Ensure critical business processes are tested from beginning to end, including real-world exceptions and failure scenarios.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability and test coverage.
• Coordinate testing across ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI, e-commerce, financial systems, legacy applications, APIs, middleware, and other integrations.
• Lead defect management, prioritization, resolution, retesting, and escalation.
• Establish executive-level reporting and dashboards covering testing progress, coverage, defects, risks, UAT, data migration, and readiness.
• Ensure test environments and data are representative of actual production conditions.
• Coordinate internal teams, business testers, system integrators, and third-party resources.
• Establish objective testing criteria for go-live readiness.
• Provide leadership with an independent, evidence-based assessment of testing readiness and outstanding risks.
• Challenge insufficient test coverage and escalate material risks when necessary.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in ERP, QA, testing, technology delivery, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years leading enterprise testing programs or organizations.
• Proven experience leading testing for a large-scale ERP implementation.
• Strong experience with end-to-end business process testing and requirements traceability.
• Experience testing complex integrations and data migrations.
• Experience leading UAT across multiple business functions.
• Strong understanding of test management and defect management practices.
• Experience working with system integrators and senior business/IT leadership.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and executive presentation skills.
