Job Description

Senior Computer Vision Engineer Sydney

A growing Australian AI company is looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to help build and deploy computer vision technology used in real world environments.

This is a hands on role where you'll work across the full CV/ML lifecycle, from developing and testing models through to deploying them into production.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop and deploy computer vision and machine learning models
  • Build solutions across object detection, anomaly detection, classification and visual inspection
  • Work with large image and video datasets
  • Build and optimise models using Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow
  • Develop computer vision pipelines using OpenCV
  • Deploy and optimise models for real time and edge environments
  • Work with cameras, sensors and real world data
  • Take CV solutions from experimentation through to production
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years' experience across Computer Vision or Machine Learning
  • Strong Python skills
  • PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar deep learning frameworks
  • Strong experience with object detection, segmentation, classification or anomaly detection
  • Experience deploying ML/CV models into production
  • Comfortable solving real world CV problems with imperfect data
