• Leading design teams, discipline coordination, review of architectural designs and code compliance

  Overseeing the development of construction documents, including specifications for renovations and new construction of transportation type facilities

  Leading technical proposals and business development activities

  Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Arts/ Science in Architecture with a Masters in Architecture

  • 5 to 7 years of of relevant post education experience in the learned discipline, transportation experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of construction drawing standards and building codes

  • Solid understanding of architectural tools (AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task.

  • Understanding of building codes including, NY State, and NYC Building Codes

  • Knowledge of construction drawing standards

• • Solid understanding of architectural tools (AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Microstation, Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.

  • The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NCARB certified a plus
• Transit architecture related experience

Expected Salary: $103,300 -$150,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
