3rd Shift Production Supervisor

Hiring Opportunity: Louisville OH Our client is looking to hire a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to join their team! The Production Supervisor would be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive work environment by regularly meeting with employees, ensuring they have the tools to do their job, and engaging in company events. Qualified candidates would have supervisory experience within a manufacturing background and an understanding of various Microsoft applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Take care of our people with demonstrated leadership in safety, active listening and feedback.
• Plan and manage the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials, and systems) to safely, efficiently and cost effectively achieve performance targets.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements as well as personal development goals. ? Maintain a safe environment and safety practices in all business initiatives by evaluating processes, continuous improvement projects and embracing the safety culture.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment by regularly meeting with employees, ensuring they have the tools to do their job and engage in company events with our staff.
• Understand and adhere to internal and external regulations, procedures & policies.
• Manage daily production schedule, optimize productivity, address daily bottlenecks, and rectify daily quality and processing problems.
• Assists in implementation and maintaining of all manufacturing methods used by department, including ISO procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Job Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate safety practices - Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience - Understanding of production processes - Microsoft office experience including outlook, word, excel, and teams.
• Ability to evaluate problems and resolve efficiently.
• Ability to communicate and engage employees, both verbal and in writing.
