Description
Located in Charleston, SC, this contract role involves supporting accounting operations and financial reporting. 
The position requires maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. 
Proficiency in generic accounting software and spreadsheet tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries. Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Analyze financial variances and support audit activities. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting. Advanced spreadsheet tool skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
