As a Customer Collaboration Manager (m/f/d) within Group Supply Chain, you serve as the operational interface between selected business partners and internal supply chain functions.
Your responsibilities include the operational implementation and further development of structured CPFR processes (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment), as well as integrating the supply chain perspective into Döhler’s Lead-to-Order process. You work closely with Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, R&D, and the Business Units. In doing so, you contribute to high delivery capability, transparent planning processes, and successful collaboration with our customers and business partners.
This position does not include disciplinary leadership responsibility and reports to the Head of Group Customer Collaboration. Your responsibilites:
- Build and continuously develop long-term, trusted relationships with selected business partners at the supply chain level.
- Analyze demand trends, inventory levels, and delivery performance; identify risks early and initiate appropriate actions.
- Analyze and manage your customer portfolio with regard to value, potential, and risk.
- Coordinate the resolution of bottlenecks and risks across the supply chain, ensuring high delivery capability and adherence to agreed service levels.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service, Order Management, Sales, Production, Quality, R&D, Business Units, and Logistics.
- Contribute to cross-functional supply chain optimization projects and further develop customer collaboration concepts, such as VMI or S&OP integrations.
- Operationally implement CPFR processes with defined business partners and further develop them based on internal demand planning and S&OP processes.
- Align sales forecasts and demand plans with customers and take responsibility for forecast alignment and supply commitments within your customer portfolio.
- Conduct joint supply chain reviews, forecast alignment meetings, and S&OP synchronization sessions with customers.
- Integrate the supply chain perspective into the Lead-to-Order process and assess capacities, raw material availability, lead times, batch sizes, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and SCM risks at an early stage.
- Initiate and support product launches, ensure supply chain involvement at defined process gates, and document relevant SCM decisions.
- You hold a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally with a focus on customer collaboration, demand or supply planning, customer service, or customer-facing SCM responsibilities.
- At least five years of professional experience in a relevant environment is preferred.
- You have a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the interfaces between Sales, Planning, Production, and Customer Service.
- You have experience collaborating operationally with customers at the supply chain level.
- Knowledge of collaborative planning methods such as CPFR, S&OP, or VMI is an advantage.
- You have experience with SAP, ideally S/4HANA and the PP, SD, and MM modules. Knowledge of SAP IBP is a plus.
- Industry experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Ingredients is desirable.
- You demonstrate a strong customer and service orientation, combined with excellent analytical skills.
- You work in a process- and solution-oriented manner and are independent, structured, and reliable.
- You communicate confidently and persuasively with a range of internal and external stakeholders and have experience facilitating alignment discussions.
- You handle escalations confidently, even in complex situations; you are fluent in English for negotiations and willing to travel internationally. German language skills are an advantage.
