Job Description

Role: Technical Program Manager – Healthcare
Location: 100% Remote
Experience: 12+ Years
10+ years Project/Program Management + Health IT/Healthcare + CMS/ONC/interoperability knowledge.

What are they looking for?
A Project/Program Manager with 10+ years of experience managing Health IT or software development projects, preferably someone who understands CMS/ONC healthcare regulations and federal contracts.
Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall project plan, timeline, resources, and risks.
  • Make sure projects are completed on time and according to contract requirements.
  • Track CMS compliance deadlines and milestones.
  • Coordinate with:
    • Engineering teams
    • Compliance teams
    • Business teams
    • Clients/pilot sites
  • Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Prepare regular status reports for leadership, investors, and federal contract teams.
  • Manage the development of healthcare data/interoperability systems.
CMS Areas They Should Understand
Experience with healthcare interoperability is important, especially:
  • Patient Access API
  • Provider Access API
  • Payer-to-Payer API
  • Prior Authorization API
  • CMS interoperability requirements
