Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the client with the implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

The Program Manager will support the Senior Project Manager and be responsible for project management, organizational change management, internal/external communications, team coordination, vendor coordination, decision tracking, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications

• PMP certification is required.
• Prior state government experience is required.
• Demonstrated Project/Program Management experience.
• Strong experience managing complex IT projects and project schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote/hybrid environment.
• Experience with risk, issue, resource, timeline, and deliverable management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Organizational Change Management experience in a laboratory or clinical care environment.
• Project Management experience in a laboratory or clinical care environment.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK methodologies.
• Experience working with healthcare, public health, laboratory, or clinical IT systems.
• Experience working with state agencies or public-sector organizations.

Additional Requirements

• Candidate must be authorized and able to perform all work within the United States.
• First-week onsite onboarding is required.
• Candidate must be able to work during Pacific Time business hours.
• Remote work requires reliable high-speed internet, phone, webcam, and microphone.
• Candidate must be able to report onsite within a reasonable timeframe if required.
