Junior Python Software Engineer [$257k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Develop, deploy, and modify application software and core li braries in Linux and AWS or VMware virtualized environments. • Design and implement REST APIs using Python, Java, or Ruby alongside Bash shell scripting. • Automate deployments and configuration management using Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. • Conduct software testing across the development lifecycle, manage PKI certificates, query SQL databases, and collaborate within an Agile framework using Jira.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 2+ years • Total Compensation: $257k+ yearly Job Description: • Provide bug fixes, enhancements, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) improvements to applications to meet operational requirements. • Develop and modify application source code in response to new requirements and requests for change. • Develop and deploy software, including in cloud environments. • Integrate externally developed code into core li braries and maintain module APIs and code organization. • Install and configure application software, and evaluate third-party vendors and software partners. • Design and develop Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Program Interfaces (APIs). • Maintain design of software li braries, emphasizing modularity, re-use of common code, clean subsystem interfaces, and integrity of design. • Work with configuration management to ensure the integration of externally developed software into core software li braries. • Develop software components to support network operations, including audio/video, image processing algorithms, OS and file systems, and device drivers. • Assist in developing specific standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality release readiness. • Conduct testing at all levels of the software development life cycle, including regression testing, adhering to strict testing procedures.
