SEN / SEND Tutor | Hebden Bridge, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to join a highly impactful organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an opportunity to make a real difference within your community, working flexibly and creatively to support vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work towards raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning difficulties.
• Engage with children and young people from diverse backgrounds, reflecting their experiences.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• An enhanced DBS check (can be facilitated) and 2+ professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
